Firefighter Ken Diver, 49, has volunteered at Fogelsville Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years, on and off since he was a teenager. He joined to give back to the community and help people, but says he also gained knowledge, maturity and a network of people.

Ken said others should join because, “You owe it to yourself for the experience and knowledge.”
