Generations of the Gorr and Gross family grew up around the fire houses of Upper Macungie Township and followed in their family’s footsteps. Siblings, Linda Gorr, 65, and Leroy Gross, 58, both joined the Good Will Fire Company No. 1 of Trexlertown because their father joined, and their children joined because of them.

As a junior firefighter, Sabrina Faust says it feels really good to make a difference in the community, and is also a great way to make new friends. Volunteers are always needed. Why not you?

Xavier Drouet

A retired Army veteran, Xavier Drouet built a sense of cohesion and pride in helping serve the nation. Now as a volunteer firefighter, he is able to have that same sense of collaboration and pride, but on the community level.

Peter Grodziak

Peter Grodziak loves the adrenaline-rush of volunteering, and riding in the trucks with lights and sirens. He joined the junior firefighting program at 16 and now serves as Deputy Chief. He encourages volunteers of all ages to join and help the community.
